A bit about us

Jess and Linda share a passion for empowering women through education on women’s health.

They started their friendship 15 years ago working as junior doctors in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. They realised quickly that they were on the same page – with oodles of empathy and a relentless urge to help the women they saw better understand their bodies, and be able to make the right decisions about their health.

Since then, Linda has become a fertility consultant at The Portland Hospital, and Jess a gynaecology consultant at University College London Hospitals.

They both have experienced some of the health issues women face and recognise how lucky they were to have the knowledge and access to experts to get them over those hurdles.

It’s for this reason that they started this is womanhood – with the idea of providing every woman - and those who support them - with a source of understandable, reliable, evidence-based information. But with all the empathy and understanding you’d get from a friend.
